Hiatus Kaiyote - Molasses

Trying very hard to do this bass masterpiece justice!

My tendency to play in front of the beat (especially when I'm not in full mastery of what I'm playing, like... here) is really playing against me here, so it was a nice opportunity to work on controlling that.

Also, trying to be more aware of how/when I ghost-note at every damn occasion - another crutch I rely on alot that is not always appropriate.

Tried to go for a darker, warmer tone than what I'm usually accustomed to - more in line with the style of the song, as well.

Still got ways to go 😃

Sorry about the flub mid-song 😐 but I felt the rest of the take was good.
