Gorguts - Testimonial Ruins

Was stuck in a rut having no fun playing for the last few days so I thought, why not go back to my origins, so to speak, and find something I can just hit the strings really hard, and see if I find the fun back.

I did end up enjoying this, but I'm struggling hard having a pleasant time playing this bass. If my Lakland feels smooth and pliable, this one feels like holding a brick. It's borderline physically taxing to play.

Anyway, this is the closing instrumental to Gorguts' 2001 From Wisdom To Hate - an album which I barely listen to anymore, but that I still consider one of my all-time favorites - full of memorable melodies where you least expect it, among many other qualities.

Didn't feel like re-tuning the whole bass, so I ended up tuning CFADGC, but I'm pretty sure this is not the original tuning.
