Becca Stevens - Slow Burn

My bass playing was getting really rusty lately, so I started learning random tracks for fun. This one is from Becca Stevens' new album Wonderbloom.

The bass part seemed like a lot of fun - it moves all over the place and it sounded like it had some pretty neat licks to try to figure out. I started fiddling around with it - turns out the original bass track is synth, so it came with a specific set of challenges, but it allowed me to stretch my fingers back into shape over the last few days, had me figure out fingerings to play some of the more tricky licks as fluidly as I could - and experiment with a synth-like fuzz tone. Very fun to play!

I think I can get a better take than this and the picture is CRAP, so I might have another go at it later.
